He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Bowers and Doris Bowers (Buck); his wife Alice Bowers; his daughters, Deborah Stafford and Susan Mann; his sister Judith Bush; and his brother-in-law Bob Scheetz.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Bowers (Sandy), Jim Bowers, Mary Alice Stewart (Craig), Mike Bowers (Tabatha) and Barbara Volstromer (Mark); and his sisters, Mary M. Scheetz and Donna Bennett (Dave). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.
