He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris Ray and Myrtle Ray (Taylor); and his brother Harold Ray. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Vourvopoulos (Terry) and Katrina Carson (Douglass); his grandchildren, Michael Vourvopoulos (Elena), Kristina Carson, Nicholas Vourvopoulos, Patrick Carson and Sarah Smothers (Brandon); and his siblings, Marvin Ray (Linda), Vernon Ray (Patty) and Wanda McCord. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
