He was predeceased by: his daughters, Mary and Ann; his parents, Mel Hawkins and Mary Catherine Hawkins; his brother Monsignor Stephen Hawkins; and his parents-in-law, Bud and Lena Morey.
He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Scott (Jennifer), Joe (Olivia), Dan (Amy) and Karen Hardy (Jamie); his grandchildren, Andrew, Taylor, Michayla, Ava, Lena, Emily of Luke, J. P. and Connor; his brothers, Mark (Jody) and Jeff (Wendy); and his close friend Jim Scartz (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
