He was predeceased by: his parents, David Simmons and Leora Simmons (Crist); and his spouse Marybelle Shaw. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth S. "Lissa" Wolfe (late Lewis) of Hebron, Ohio and Robert S. Simmons (Linda) of Westerville; and his grandchildren, Jerrod Wolfe (Leah), Jonathon Wolfe (Stacey), Christopher Simmons (Sarah), Steven Simmons (Sarah) and Matthew Simmons (Nichole).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home (500 Lima Ave, Findlay, OH 45840).
