He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Joe Hixon and Geneva Hixon (Williams) of Lima; his daughter Dr. Jennifer L. Mangino of Cincinnati; his brother Mark A. Hixon; and his sister-in-law Beverly Ware (Price) of Phoenix.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda J. Hixon (Price); his daughter Emily Patrick (Hixon); his sons-in-law, Matthew and Michael J. Mangino; his grandchildren, Michael David, Thomas Mangino, Maxwell, Bellamy and Miller Patrick; his sisters-in-law, Glenda Warner (Price) and Lisa Hixon (Hendershot); his nephew Jeffrey Ware; and his niece Julie Ware.
