She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Evelyn Singellton (Brown) and Forrest "Babe" Helms; her husband Dick R. Betz; her brother Bill Helms; and her friend Leatrice Herrel.
She is survived by: her children, Jim, Jan and John; her daughter-in-law Kim; her grandchildren, Katie Boyle (John), Jordan, Jack and Kalvin Betz; her great grandchildren, Jack and Jagger Boyle; and her sister Karen Moran.
In honor of her love of the Theatre and always the ultimate Hostess in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Columbus Association of the Performing Arts or Mid-Ohio Food Collective in her name.
