We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2023, at the age of 83, Carol Elizabeth Alvord (Westerville, Ohio), born in Cleveland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hemmeter and Eleanor Hemmeter (William Grant Alvord, Sr); her in-laws, Harrison and Eloise Alvord (Hamilton); and her brother-in-law Samuel Randolph.
She is survived by: her husband William Grant Alvord, Sr.; her children, William Grant Alvord, Jr. (Sabrina) of San Antonio, TX, Wende Swanson (Steve) of Granville, OH and Rick Alvord (Jill) of Cape Coral, FL.; her sister Dorothy J. Barnes (Lewis); and her sister-in-law Brenda J. Randolph. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
