He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony J. Maiberger and Lucille E. Maiberger (Rupprecht); and his wife Patricia. He is survived by: his children, Greg (Kim), Mark (Lori), David (Patti) and Barb (Young); his grandchildren, Jenni Messemer (Rich), Scott Maiberger (Ashley), Megan Vanderson (Eric), Alisha Cardwell (Wilson) and Jordan Maiberger (Ally); and his brother-in-law Mike Balogh (Ruby). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and life-long friends.
