He was predeceased by: his wife Marian Healy Lewis; his daughter Marianne Welker; his parents, Ramon Lewis and Helen Lewis (Cusack); and his brothers, Robert Lewis (Joan) and Teddy Lewis.
He is survived by: his sons, Alan Lewis (Charmaine), Neil Lewis (Jane), Mark Lewis (Terri), Steven Lewis (Judy), Donald Lewis (Michelle), Kevin Lewis and William Lewis (Gail); and his sister Carole Lewis Lattanzio (Lou). He is also survived by his many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
