He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward E. and Mary V. Patten (Gore); his wife Harriet L. Colon; his brother Ray Patten; his son-in-law Steve Cilley; and his great grandchild Lydia Hefner.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Noveskey (John) of Tulsa, Amy Lee Siegel (David) of Sun Lakes, Russell Patten (Emily) of Bryan and Ann Cilley of Montpelier, Ohio. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
