The memory of Sylvia M. Bost of West Unity, Ohio, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on April 27, 2024 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, George D. Roy and Louise M. Roy (Goward); her husband Joseph Bost; her granddaughter Nicole Forbes; her brothers, George Roy (Susie) and Lewis Roy (Judy); her nephews, David Roy and Raymond Sands (Deb); her great-niece Ashley Jermeay; her brothers-in-law, Wayne Sands and Max Jermeay; and her stepmother Mary Roy.

She is survived by: her children, Catherine "Cathy" Forbes of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Curtis (Teresa Kroetz) of Stryker, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Forbes of Fort Wayne, Matt Forbes (Amy Blough) of Fort Wayne, Mandy Garman (Nicholas) of Auburn, Phillip Miller (Angie), Virginia, Duey Miller of Bryan, Shalee Miller of Hicksville, Levi Miller of Hicksville and Ayden Morr of Hicksville; her great grandchildren, Jade, Kayla, Alli, Connor and Rylee; her great great grandchild Lincoln; and her siblings, Steven Roy (Susan) of Texas, Carol Jermeay of West Unity, Sharon Sands of West Unity, Ruth Delagrange (Merle) of Indiana and Kathy Nisley (Mike) of Indiana. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I entered Sylvia's life when she was already residing at Hillside. She was a regular attender of the chapel service until she could no longer. Near the end I would pray wiith her whether awake or asleep in her room. She always reacted and received my present graciously and made me feel like I positively affected her day because I had been sent to the One who gave her life.”
