He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Ward Funkhouser and Eve Lanore Funkhouser (Rhoades); his grandson Derek Hartsock; and his sister Margie Hill. He is survived by: his wife Sue Funkhouser of Paulding; his children, Michael Edward Funkhouser (Vickie) of West Unity, Katherine Ann Jernigan of West Unity and Mary Louise Hartsock of Montpelier; and his sister Linda Donaldson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
