He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Melvin, Mildred Hand (Towns) and DeWayne VanArsdalen; his aunt Sherry Dietrich (Hand); and his uncles, Donald C. Hand and David A. VanArsdalen.
He is survived by: his parents, Michael Hand and Debbie Hand (VanArsdalen) of West Unity; his daughter Nina Hand (Tyriek McDade) of Edgerton; his granddaughter Autumn McDade; his grandmother Myrtle VanArsdalen; his siblings, Michael Hand (Theresa) of Columbus, Tina Dennis (Jeremy) of Pioneer, Martha Frasca (Peter) of Hopkinton, MA. and Jeremy Hand-VanVlerah (Tess) of Cecil; and his former wife Rebecca Hand (Wagner) of Edgerton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a great-nephew.
