He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Rupp and Stella Rupp (Flory); his former wife B. Lucille Roesch; his son Van Linda Brown of Pioneer; and his brothers, Henry, Glen and Paul Rupp.
He is survived by: his foster sons, Ed Rupp and Gary Woods; his wife Ruth Ann Brown (Eberly); his children, Arthur Brown (Rosemary) of Kunkle, John Brown of Pioneer, Rosemary King (Larry) of Alvordton and Kathleen Gillette (Jim) of Columbia City; and also, Laurie Murray (Scott), Rodney Rupp, Shirley Sisty (Terry), Renee Heisey (Steve), Diane Heisey (Paul), Brenda Beck (Pete), Nedra Pike, Elaine Leatherman (Cletus Fry), Gary Leatherman (Pat), Delbert Swihart (Connie), Sharon Swihart and Carla Burgess (Dave).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cherry Street Mission in Toledo.
