In loving memory of Walter John of West Union, Ohio, born in Fort Recovery, Ohio, who departed this world on October 11, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Steinbrunner and Anna Steinbrunner (Knoth); his siblings, Ralph Steinbrunner, Shirley Rienhard and Regina Lange (Virgil); his children, Kari Homan (Martin) and Frank Steinbrunner; and his grandsons, Cody Wehnes and Joseph Steinbrunner.
He is survived by: his wife Karen L. Steinbrunner (Schmidt); and his children, Judy Jackson (Ed), Betty Steinbrunner, Chris Steinbrunner, Theresa Wycuff (John), Wally Steinbrunner, Tony Steinbrunner (Amanda), Matt Steinbrunner, Adam Steinbrunner and Rose Heddleston (Richard). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lafferty Funeral Home (205 S Cherry St, West Union, OH 45693). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (104 S 2nd St, West Union, OH 45693).
