He is survived by: his wife Margaret Copas; his children, Faron Copas, Terri Newton and Leada Harrell; his stepsons, James Smith and Richard Smith; and his siblings, Terry Copas (Nancy), Paul Copas, Bonnie Mattox, Beulah Young, Ruby Jones, Ruth Ann Copas, Linda Wallace (Michael) and Vicki Lee. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
