With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rick Taylor of West Union, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rick left this world on April 1, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Richard and Pearl Taylor (Cornett); his wife Linda Taylor; and his brother Jim Taylor. He is survived by: his children, Richard Taylor (Tina) of Sardinia, Charlene Hanson (Richard Crawford) of Russellville, Tammy Boling of Sardinia, Tonya Amburgey (Randy DeVore) of Bentonville and Lorena Watson of Sardinia; and his siblings, John Taylor of Peebles, Russell "Jug" Taylor (Sandy) of Blue Creek, Rod Taylor of Blue Creek, Pat Taylor of Hillsboro, Connie Helbling of Georgetown, Barb Shoemaker (Lloyd) of Marshall, OH and Anna Taylor of Greenfield, OH. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Meeker Funeral Home (308 N Columbus St, Russellville, OH 45168). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Meeker Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
