He is survived by: his mother Shirley Ackerman (Baldwin) of Washington Courthouse; his wife Rosie Parker-Ackerman of Washington Courthouse; his children, Sarah Ackerman of Washington Courthouse, Amber Ferrell of West Union, Hailey Ackerman of Washington Courthouse, Shyannah Ackerman of Washington Courthouse, Bryan Ferrell of West Union, Brandon Ackerman of Washington Courthouse and Jacob Ackerman of Washington Courthouse; and his siblings, Debby Brown of Alabama, Alice Lewis of Washington Courthouse, Donna Ackerman of Alabama, Terry Ackerman of Alabama, Paul Ackerman of North Carolina and Billy Ackerman of Washington Courthouse. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
