He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Young and Flora Young (Pollard). He is survived by: his daughter Connie Jones of Thornton, CO; his brother John "Hamer" Young of West Union, OH; and his grandchildren, Dawn Cogan of Thorton, CO and Allan Nichols of Fountain Inn, NC. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
