She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Whittington and Roma Whittington (Teague). She is survived by: her children, Eric Dyer of Lynx, Kristina Grooms of Peebles and Kelly Kimmerly (Ralph Franklin); her adoptive daughter Amanda Lewis of Blue Creek; and her sisters, Jane, Marilyn, Sheryl, Joan and Marcia. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
