It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Daniel Newton Land of West Union, Ohio, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his father James H. Land; and his brother Greg Land. He is survived by: his mother Dawn Land (Godby); his children, Jericho Reynolds, Hayden, Ryder Land and Jovey Stephenson; his siblings, Keith Land (Sarah) and Brandi Persch (Scott); and his sister-in-law Emily Land. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home (216 W Mulberry St, West Union, OH 45693). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Kirker Cemetery (632 Rice Dr, West Union, OH 45693).
