She was predeceased by: her parents, Narvel "Jack" Lockard and Mary Lockard; her husband Blake Blackshire; and her sister Betty Jo DeJarnett. She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Logan, Jayse and Bo Prather; her sisters, Mary Wayne (Jim) of Charleston, WV, Nancy Stanley of Charleston, WV and Joy Allen (Jim) of Sinks Grove, WV.; and her brothers-in-law, Lloyd DeJarnett of Charleston and David Stanley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
