She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edgar Thomas and Alice Cornwell Walker; her husband Dale; her daughters, Dorothy Campbell (Shawn) of Wilmington and Tonya Canby (Geoff) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Douglas Canby (Jessica), Nicholas Canby, Curtis Canby (Mindy), Tyler Spurlock, Caleb Spurlock (Hannah Marie), Kyle Spurlock and Hannah Spurlock; her siblings, Dorothy Pence (William) and Edgar Walker II; and her son Dale E. Barnett Jr.. She was also cherished by several great grandchildren.
