He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Davis and Marjorie Davis (Winkle); his former wife Virginia Davis (Werts); and his grandsons, Charles Raymond Davis and Seth Bailey Horton.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes Davis of West Union, OH; his children, Daisy Davis of West Union, OH, Becky Shively (Dort), Margie Young (Dave), Dan Davis Jr. of Columbus, OH and Jerry "Bear" Davis (Sharon); and his sisters, Joyce Polley (Bill) and Dorothy Reagan (Jim Bob). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
