She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Nelson and Myrle Nelson (Hayslip); and her husband Merlin Hugh Cox. She is survived by: her children, Merlin Robert Cox of Squirreltown and Carla Renee Brown of Rome; her grandchildren, Kelli Knechtly (Chris) of Peebles and Kyle Brown of Squirreltown; her great grandchildren, Aspen Jade and Heidi Jane Knechtly of Peebles; and her sisters, Patricia Tipton of Friendship, Leona Rister of West Union and Emma Williams of West Union. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
