He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Bud" and Malissa Evans (Fite); his wife Ruby Evans (Lewis); and his brothers, Buster Evans and Everrett Evans (Paula Hobbs).
He is survived by: his stepson Virgil Lewis (Rosemary); his grandchildren, Adam Lewis, Tammy Lewis and Pamela Kidder; his great grandchildren, Jarod, Ashley, Chloe, Lily and Addison; and his nieces, Jessie, Julia, Lavivian and Ruth. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
