She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Ellis and Romie Ellis (Stewart). She is survived by: her children, David Grover (Monica) and Belinda Stovall (Buddy); her grandchildren, Matthew Stovall, Shelby Stovall, Austin Grover and Abel Grover; and her great grandchild Amicia Grover.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Kicks for Jesus.
