He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ruetschle (Shough); his children, Pam Ruetschle-Wagner (Richard), Robert Ruetschle (Valita) and Pat Patterson (Tom); his grandchildren, Lauren Louise Patterson and Samuel Rothwell-Ruetschle Patterson; and his sister Linda Fortcamp.
