He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Earl and Delma Wyatt Long; and his siblings, Jerry Long, Betty Emmons, Luretta and Boeshart (Vernita Mellor).
He is survived by: his wife Helen Brady Long; his daughter Cynthia Griffith of West Salem; his grandchildren, Ezra Amend (Melissa), Eliza Jenkins (Thomas) and Gabriel Griffith (Nikki); and his siblings, Thomas E. Long, Linda L. Zwally and Cinda S. Long. He is also survived by many loving great grandchildren.
