It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Jones of West Portsmouth, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Thompson and Betty Erwin Thompson; her son George Blanton; her great grandchild Xavier Dean Russell; and her sister Polly Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Danny Jones; her children, Eddie Blanton, Paul "Jay" Brown, Eugene Brown, Deanna Blanton Grizzle, Racheal Blanton, Pamela Pinkerman and Misty Henderson; and her siblings, Tony Thompson, Reva Hamilton, Chris Caldwell and Gail Cummings. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
