It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Leigh Montavon of West Portsmouth, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Carolyn Leedy Rice; her grandparents, Charles, Edna Andis Kirk Pendleton, Estel and Gladys Womacks Leedy; her parents-in-law, Louis and Evelyn Montavon; and her uncles, Gary, Ray Pendleton, Kenny Horsely and Charles Leedy.
She is survived by: her mother Peggy; her husband Michael J. Montavon; her children, Stacy Elaine Montavon and Christopher Michael Montavon; her siblings, Charles Bucky Pendleton (Debbie), Ronnie Pendleton and Stephanie Hollis (Mike); her grandchildren, Westley Montavon (Kylie), Dawson Montavon, Kalyn Henry (Tyler) and Olivia Montavon; her great grandchild Jax Henry; her aunts, Linda Pendleton and Doris Leedy; and her sisters-in-law, Beverly Mays, Janet Tieman (Roger) and Jennifer (Mark). She is also survived by many friends, nephews, nieces and cousins.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to SOMC Hospice.
