He was predeceased by: his parent Leslie Denning; his daughter Pamela Denning; his grandson Matthew Denning; and his siblings, Charles, Harold, Darrell, Wayne, George, Herbert, Jerry, Mary Spurlock, Elizabeth Eulitt, Olive Ratliff and Betty Rollins.
He is survived by: his parent Ethel Denning (Hill); his son Little League; his wife Helen Denning (Purdy); his son Jeffrey Denning; his daughter-in-law Leeann Denning of Minford; his granddaughter Katherine "Katie" Jenkins (Wesley) of Ashville; and his siblings, Ethel Hicks (Tiny) of Indiana, Elnora Montgomery of Hilliard and Ralph Denning (Janet) of Payne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
