It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Sue Burchett of West Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on December 22, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Patricia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Patricia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Lee and Arzie Manis Blankenship; her husband Ruben Oscar Burchett; and her sisters, Barbara Gail Blakenship, Kathy Loreen Blakenship and Vickie Ray Weaver.
She is survived by: her sons, James R. Burchett of West Portsmouth and Raymond O. Burchett of Piketon; and her grandsons, Jeffrey Burchett and Blake McKenzie Burchett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home (1310 3rd St, West Portsmouth, OH 45663). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
