She was predeceased by: her parents, Hord Earl and Bessie Edith Hobbs Frye; her husband Jerry Lee Adkins Sr.; and her siblings, Wayne, Ed, Hord, Terry, Doc, Michael Frye, Kate Brown, Garnet Davis, Delores Frye and Maxine Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Lee Adkins Jr. and Tammy McNutt (Gary); her daughter-in-law Tracy Adkins of West Portsmouth; her grandchildren, DJ (Adreonna), Cody and Haven Adkins; her great grandchild Braxton Canter McNutt; and her sisters, Anna Davis of Canton, Rose Wiley (Junior), Sue Frye, Marva Frye of West Portsmouth and Barbara Stecher of Charlotte, NC.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
