He is survived by: his mother Wanda Meade Bender of Portsmouth; his son Zachary Bender; his wife Julie Bender; his children, Molly Bender (Patrick Cotton) of Piketon, Sarah Bender of Piketon, Haley Stapleton of West Portsmouth and Alexis Stapleton of West Portsmouth; his daughter-in-law Brooke Bender; his brothers, Ralph Steven Bender of Piketon, Jeffrey Eldon Bender of Lucasville, David Paul Bender of Lucasville and William Lee Bender of Lucasville; and his grandchildren, Kenzlee Cotton, Levi Bender, Aleaha Bender and Joseph Zapf.
