It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joey Cassidy of West Portsmouth, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on May 19, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Donald Cassidy and Grace Rose Crabtree Cassidy. He is survived by: his wife Janine Mills Cassidy; his children, Kyla Carr of South Shore, Amy Holt of West Portsmouth, Davida Pfau of West Portsmouth and Johnny Smith of Portsmouth; his siblings, Tony Cassidy (Debbie) of Jamestown, Keith Cassidy of McDermott, Randy Cassidy (Regina) of Lucasville, Mike Cassidy (Lisa) of Lucasville, Penny Williams (Steve) of Otway and Shelly Ealey (Ryan Rachford) of McDermott; his pet Lilly; and his close friends, Ed Crabtree and Marv Carver. He is also survived by nine grandchildren: five great grandchildren.
