He was predeceased by: his father Willis Sparks; his daughter Shai Sparks; and his siblings, Edward Sparks, Steve Sparks, Rick Sparks, Timothy Sparks, Dean Sparks and Kathy Royster.
He is survived by: his children, Scotty Sparks, Katelyn Cantrell (Tyler) and Angie Lockhart (Jack Tackett); his siblings, Jesse Howard, Tina Rice (Tim McGraw) and Wendy Taylor (Terry); his grandchildren, Haisley Cantrell, Christian Lockhart (Crystal), Kaleigh Lockhart, Isaiah Humble and Brianna Humble; and his great grandchildren, Grayson Reed, Malachi Reed, Abel Gerald and Eliott Lockhart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to SOMC Hospice in Scott's name.
