He is survived by: his wife Bulah Harris Cassity; his children, Kathy Cox of West Liberty, Michael J. Cassity of Waverly, Charlotte Cassity of Portsmouth, Timmy Joe Cassity of Olive Hill, Helen Puckett (Darrell) of Olive Hill, Connie Frances Cassity of Portsmouth, Peggy Sue Taylor of West Liberty, Earl David Cassity of Portsmouth and Patty Starostka of Morehead; and his sisters, Mary Lee Cassity of Portsmouth and Betty Lou Burns of Portsmouth. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
