He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kitchen and Lena Clifford Kitchen; his wife Norma Rhoden Kitchen; his stepson Wayne Hoople; and his siblings, Clarence Kitchen, David Kitchen, Leatrice Kitchen, Betty McGlone and Ruth McGlone.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Harry Lee Hoople and Laura Gelly; and his brother Gale Kitchen. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
