It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Fern Skiles of West Portsmouth, Ohio, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on May 3, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hall and Ethel Hall (Anderson); her husband Ronald Edward Skiles; her son Robert Dale Hale; her grandchildren, Courtney and Brandon; and her siblings, Anna, Donna and Fred.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Lee Hale, Ruth Morgan (Mark), Rhonda Gibson (Todd) and Penny Knauff (Jeff); her grandchildren, Misty, Jeremy, Justin, Bethany, Brittany, Ashley and Brady; and her sisters, Phyllis, Eunice, Betty and Barbara. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
