He was predeceased by: his father Albert; and his brothers, Albert and Rodney McCoy. He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary Mershon McCoy; his daughters, Nicky McCoy and Kelly McCoy; his siblings, Terry McCoy, Janice Elliott, Phyllis Ferguson and Karen Davidson; his grandsons, Justin, Jacob and Mason McCoy; and his great grandchildren, Isaiah and Caly McCoy.
