He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sherman and Delores Hughes Jewell; his brother John Joseph Jewell; and his brother-in-law John Colley. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Cooper Jewell; his daughters, Sarah Smith (Ronnie) of West Portsmouth and Kortney Jewell of New Boston; his stepchildren, Thomas Cooper (Sarah) of Peebles and Rachel Cummings (David) of Seaman; his siblings, Michael Jewell (Nancilyn) of Mt Orab, Randy Jewell (Daphne) of New Richmond and Vina Colley of McDermott; and his grandchildren, Kiersten Smith, Courtney Cornwell (Ethan), Logan Cummings, Ethan Cummings, Jacob Cooper and Ella Cooper. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home (1310 3rd St, West Portsmouth, OH 45663). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
