She was predeceased by: her father Shirley Edward; and her siblings, Gary, Lawrence, Donald, Shirley Edward II, Homer Mershon, Delores Meadows, Lowella Teeters, Geneva Ball, Dorothy Mershon, Joann Luther and Helen Summers.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Smith, Shannon Smith, Sam Smith and Jeffrey Smith; and her brother John Mershon. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
