She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Swords and Nina Schaffer Swords; her husband Harold Day; her son Harry Stidham; her stepdaughter Rhonda King; and her brother Raymond Swords.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Stidham, Scott Stidham (Debbie) and Cindy Gleim (Tommy); her stepdaughters, Debbie Baldridge (Neal), Teresa Loper (Tim) and Kimberly Garthee; her daughter-in-law Gwen Stidham; and her siblings, Will Swords, Russell Swords, Larry "Skeets" Swords, Charlotte Detorrice, Irene Oldes and Judy Thurman. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren.
