He is survived by: his parents, Donald Robert and Jean Ann Metzger Winters; his wife April Carr Winters; his children, Dennis Michael Winters II, Chad Carr, Destiny Winters, Danielle Winters and Megan Nichols; his siblings, Donald Winters Jr., Mark Winters, Paul Wayne Winters, Donna Jean Wear and Marsha K. Hart; his grandchildren, Aleicia, Trey, Devon, Drake and Jeremy; and his great grandchild Lukas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
