He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Alan and Helen Dorothy Lauth Myers; his grandson Connor Walker; and his siblings, Robert Craig, Evan Wade, Stephen Lee Myers, Mary Ann Ray and Carol Lynn Warner.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Jay Myers II (Keri Hamilton), Dawn Walker (John) and Rachelle Rogeski (Mark Hogge); his grandchildren, Kayla Tolliver (Dillon), Peyton Walker, Shawna Walker and Wyatt Myers; his great grandchildren, Mason Tolliver, Greyson Tolliver, JociGail Tolliver and Owen Tolliver; and his siblings, James Roger Myers and Marcia Joan Tipton (Bill). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to SOMC Hospice in Alan's memory.
