It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aileen Burton of West Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Aileen Burton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Albert and Anna Mae Newman Swords; her husband Vernon E. W. Burton; her son Harold Burton; and her siblings, Carl, Robert Raymond, Oscar, Tessie Swords, Agnes Dionne, Tharlene Crabtree, Arlene Jenkins, Flossie Mitchell and Commie Mae Leslie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rosanna Cope of Newport News, VA and Velveeta Mae "Eydie" Neace (Rodney) of Portsmouth; her sister Katherine Osman (Ronald) of Winchester; and her grandchildren, David Neace, Lori, Buck Cope and Sabrina Cline. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
