She was predeceased by: her parents, John Krenzer and Mary Krenzer (Herman); her husband Henry Russell Holmes Jr.; her son Jerry Alan Holmes; her siblings, Mary Osborn (Jim), Edwin Krenzer (Mildred), Roy Krenzer (Marie), Harry Krenzer (Mary Ellen), Paul Krenzer (Betty), Doris Herman (Emil) and Robert Krenzer; and her brother-in-law Gary Miller.
She is survived by: her son Michael Russell Holmes (Pamela) of Harrisonburg, VA; and her sister Carolyn Miller of Denver, CO. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
