With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Virginia Mae Holmes of West Milton, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Krenzer and Mary Krenzer (Herman); her husband Henry Russell Holmes Jr.; her son Jerry Alan Holmes; her siblings, Mary Osborn (Jim), Edwin Krenzer (Mildred), Roy Krenzer (Marie), Harry Krenzer (Mary Ellen), Paul Krenzer (Betty), Doris Herman (Emil) and Robert Krenzer; and her brother-in-law Gary Miller.
She is survived by: her son Michael Russell Holmes (Pamela) of Harrisonburg, VA; and her sister Carolyn Miller of Denver, CO. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home (284 N Miami St, West Milton, OH 45383). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at the Dayton Memorial Park (8135 N Dixie Dr, Dayton, OH 45414).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
