He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Mead and Sadie Ellen Mead (Kenworthy); his wife Juanita Kay Mead (Nickel); his daughter Linda Mead; his brothers, Charles Mead (Connie) and Otis Mead (Shirley); and his brother-in-law Marvin Brumbaugh.
He is survived by: his close friend Brenda Streck; his daughters, Karen Longstreth (Mike) of Dayton, Rhonda Burgess (Beau) of Sidney, Peggy Basham (Luke) of Ansonia and Mary Peters (Kraig) of Bradford; and his siblings, Dorothy Brumbaugh of Laura and Kenny Mead (Joyce) of Bradford. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
