He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Smith and Lillie Pearl Smith (Dean); his son Tyler Smith; and his sister Jenny Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lee Smith (Zimmerman); his sons, Doug Smith (Renee) of Laura, Jeff Smith (Alicia) of Laura and Don Smith of Englewood; his sisters, Barbara Sauceman (James) of Tennessee and Trisha Knight (Dale) of Tennessee; and his brother-in-law Leon Lawson of Tennessee. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
